Hardware Compatibility Manual

When you are committed to using free software, another great move you should do is to start getting hardware that respects your freedom as well. This way you will help free culture expand to other fields different to software and will avoid the frustration many people have to deal with when they want to use free software but their current hardware is not free software friendly.

The Free Software Foundation provides a list of hardware with the "Respects Your Freedom" certification. You can also use the h-node service to check if your current hardware works well with free software or to find hardware that is reported to work well before you buy it.
