just a few hours ago i installed "gNewSense 1.0" from LiveCD. I did not need to configure my LAN card as gNewSense did so in the background (check this using "dmesg"). when i opened Firefox i got the message "server not found" for every web-site i tried to open. but i wasn't scared as i used OpenBSD, FreeBSD, NetBSD, Debian, Fedora & Arch a few others earlier. i had same trouble on all those GNU based Linux distros, here is how i solved it:
1.) open "/etc/modeprobe.d/aliases" file & comment out the following line:
"alias net-pf-10 ipv6"
then add these 2 lines:
alias net-pf-10 off alias ipv6 off
so finally, it looks like this:
# alias net-pf-10 ipv6 alias net-pf-10 off alias ipv6 off
only then Netgear DG632 will work otherwise will not. On other distros like "Fedora, BLAG, Foresight or whatever" edit the "/etc/modprobe.conf" file.
