I have been using FLOSS as my personal desktop since 1994. I have been active in various groupings encouraging people to use Free Libre Open Source Software for a long time. Currently I am trying to maintain active links with Ubuntu, and some of the teams within that space. I am involved with my local LUG, linux.ie, (I did not buy the domain name ;-)). Another organisation I am involved with is IFSO that is the Irish Free Software Organisation.
I'll have to get someone to take a photograph for here, I have none of me without my beard which I wore for about twenty years.
I strongly suggest if you have not already investigated DRM get to know it and be active against its implementation, why should you let companies whose products you buy not trust you? One place to do this is: http://drm.info/
